ABOUT US
What’s the problem?
The career ladder as we know it is crumbling. But that’s not a bad thing.
Today’s generation of professionals isn’t climbing a straight path to a corner office; they’re building careers that are flexible, purposeful, and entirely their own. It’s a world where they’re redefining what “success” can look like. Maybe as a content creator, entrepreneur, or something that doesn’t exist yet!
Students spend their school years polishing their resumes, portfolios, and extracurriculars to get into their dream schools. But once they’re there, no one hands them a playbook on how to turn their passions into profit. Whether you want to build a business, launch a brand, or pursue a more traditional career on your own terms, the rules of the game have changed. The New Ladder is here to help you play it.
What We’re Doing About It.
The New Ladder is career counseling built for the next generation of creative minds and entrepreneurial spirits. Today’s students and professionals are redefining what “career” means. It’s no longer just a 9-to-5 corporate climb, but a flexible, purposeful path they design for themselves.
In a world where influencers, creators, and entrepreneurs are shaping the future of work, there’s no playbook for turning passions into profit or building a career that feels both successful and sustainable. That’s where we come in: The New Ladder helps high school and college students (and their parents) by providing customized, results-driven plans they can put into action before graduation or academic transition.
It doesn’t stop with students. We recognize that new beginnings can happen at any point along the professional journey. That’s why our programs offer the same strategic clarity to anyone ready to rethink, redesign, or reinvent their career at any stage.
OUR MISSION
To help early-age and early-stage professionals turn their passions into profit on their own terms.
Meet THE FOUNDER AND LEAD COACH
Remington Bennett has never followed the path most traveled; she’s been building her own ladder since high school. At just 15, she turned her passion for storytelling into a career-launching opportunity, interviewing prominent figures and celebrities before most teens had written their first resumes. That early drive led her to Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and later to powerhouse roles at the Oprah Winfrey Network and The New York Times, where she combined her love for media with her talent for empowering others..
Now, Remington brings that same energy, creativity, and strategy to The New Ladder, a career coaching program for high school and college students redefining success on their own terms. As a certified international career coach with a background in journalism, storytelling, and mentoring, she knows firsthand how to turn passions into purpose and is committed to helping the next generation build careers that are successful, meaningful, and uniquely their own.
